What really sets one wedding apart from another is the wedding venue. So it is difficult to chose the perfect place for it. Therefore, I’d like to share Doris & Marco’s story of getting married in Croatia. It took a place in a little island called Hvar. A lot of couples choose popular vineyards, beaches and gardens as places to celebrate their big day. This couple made their wedding extraordinary by taking their special day to the cinematic Hvar Island.
Doris and Marco came from Munich. Unlike the bustling cities in Germany that are dynamic, Hvar Island offers a laid back atmosphere. Therefore, they made this wedding celebration memorable not only to them but to their wedding guests as well.
Exchanging Vows at the Romanesque St. Mark Church
Doris and Marco expressed their deep devotion and adoration to one another at the place they both fell in love with. The wedding ceremony was held at the Romanesque St. Mark Church. It features late Gothic architectural designs after it had undergone reconstruction in the second half of the 14th century. It does not require a grandiose preparation to make the wedding spectacular. The vibe and the scenic views of the church made the wedding ceremony special. This was a dream job for a wedding photographer.
Great food, drinks and atmosphere at the Villa Eos Humac
Doris and Marco’s wedding took a place in one of the island’s most popular villas. The reception was held at the Villa Eos Humac. Villa is isolated from the outside world and creates divine atmosphere. For a simple dinner, everyone had a seat at the open air area which offers a great view of the island. Wedding guests enjoyed great food, refreshing drinks, and some chitchats as the sun was setting.
Due to villa’s privacy, wedding guests felt comfortable and relaxed. This is why destination weddings are great. They give everyone a chance to break from work and enjoy a short vacation with friends and families.
Imprinting memories in the cinematic Hvar Island
There’s not as many alluring spots to wed as in this gem of the Mediterranean. It is surrounded by olive groves, cypress and fig trees. This jewel of the Adriatic, which is also the sunniest island of Croatia, makes one of the most desirable locations for the perfect wedding. Anyways, when you have that surrounding, the mood gets in the right place. Everybody enjoyed the wedding with a lot of laugh and dance.
