Europe has no shortage of fairy-tale towns – that’s a fact.

There are these places where you can find moments of silence, unreal beautiful surroundings, fairy-tale scenery, wild nature. Most recently, I had one of these experiences in France. There is no better way to see France than to explore villages and small towns. All around the country, the small and often still traditional communities create a fantastic and relaxing scene. Get off the old path to find a little slice of French paradise of your own. Big fields, mirrored lake reflections, small roads and amazing views will await for you. All this is just a part of this amazing French elopement.

There are many reasons to love destination elopements. But one of my favorites is that each newlywed couple has an air of serenity from the peacefulness of being alone with their partner. Sarah and Guillaume’s elopement perfectly channeled this. And what we got as a result is effortless romantic elopements; one of the best I’ve seen.

As soon as Sarah and Guillaume laid their eyes on gorgeous panoramas, they walked through a small town named Penne d’Agenais. It is a commune in the Lot-et-Garonne department in south-western France. The village overlooking the Lot valley is set high on the most pleasant looking and inviting hillside.

Just when you think an French destination elopement couldn’t be more epic, it turns into a surprise dinner that’s as stylish as it gets

Dinner started with some super playful shots in the gorgeous garden. They chose a natural color palette of light brown and golden for decor, which stood in beautiful harmony to the beautiful landscape.

This romantic getaway is a breath of fresh air for anyone who needs a reminder how good it feels to be in love.
